Every staffing firm claims to stand behind their placements. But when something goes wrong — the candidate doesn’t show up, the fit is off, the hire leaves at week six — you find out what the guarantee actually means.
Here’s exactly how Bravo’s 90-day retention guarantee works. No fine print surprises.
What the Guarantee Covers
If a Bravo placement voluntarily leaves or is terminated for performance within 90 days, we replace them at no additional placement fee. That’s the guarantee, stated plainly.
It applies to:
- Direct placement (permanent hire) — the full 90-day window
- Temp-to-hire — from the day of conversion to permanent
- Retained search — 90 days from start date
What the Guarantee Doesn’t Cover
Being upfront about exclusions is part of how Bravo operates:
- Layoffs and position eliminations — if you let the person go because of a project cancellation or budget cut, that’s not a placement failure; the guarantee doesn’t apply
- Role scope changes — if the job changes materially from what was represented at the time of placement, we work with you to find a solution but the standard guarantee terms don’t automatically trigger
- Acts of misconduct — if the candidate is terminated for documented cause, we handle this case-by-case; most situations still result in a replacement
What Happens When You Invoke It
You call or email your Bravo contact. You tell us what happened. We don’t require a formal written claim or a waiting period.
From that conversation:
- We get a clear picture of what went wrong — the more detail, the better the next placement
- We identify whether there were any preventable mismatches on our side
- We start the replacement search immediately — no waiting for a new intake process
Our goal is to close the replacement within 10 business days of the conversation. We maintain an active candidate pipeline in every trade we place, so we’re not starting from zero.
Why 90 Days Is the Right Window
The first 90 days of any placement are the highest-risk period. This is when cultural fit problems surface, when a candidate realizes the role wasn’t what they expected, and when competitors make their most aggressive counter-offers.
Bravo’s actual retention rate across all placements is 94% at the 90-day mark — but the guarantee exists because no firm places at 100%, and employers shouldn’t carry that risk alone.
What Happens After 90 Days
Bravo stays a resource past the guarantee window. If you’ve got questions about a candidate at month four or five, call us. We don’t disappear after the guarantee expires.
For retained search clients, we maintain an ongoing relationship — you get access to our candidate network for future roles, and we proactively flag candidates who match your team’s profile even when you’re not actively hiring.
